WHAT You get

Everything you need to grow

Hands-on UX Mentorship
UX Quest is an 8-week mentorship where junior designers practice real UX work, from defining problems to explaining decisions with confidence.
Structured UX process

You’ll work through a clear, repeatable UX framework - the kind hiring teams expect you to explain.

Real Challenges

You work on realistic product problems, similar to what designers face in actual teams.

Thinking First

We focus on how to think, decide, and explain UX decisions.

Direct Feedback

You get direct critique and guidance, not generic comments or automated feedback at our weekly 1-1 calls.

Why UX Quest

Most junior designers aren’t struggling because they lack talent.

They’re struggling because no one shows them how UX work actually happens in real teams.

Common problems

UX Quest exists to close this gap.

“Merve is truly an excellent mentor. She’s incredibly empathetic and deeply focused on her work, with a remarkably strong UX foundation.

Throughout the UX Quest mentorship, she consistently motivated me; her positive attitude and calm, structured guidance during critical moments helped me stay focused and inspired.

She was also very consistent and committed to our sessions, and after each meeting, I felt tangible progress.

She helped me see how pushing the boundaries of my design decisions can lead to stronger experiences—and that gave me much more confidence.

Working on the EduMentor Web App: AI-Enhanced Instructor Dashboard project was a great learning experience, and Merve’s guidance made a big difference throughout the process. She was supportive, clear and thoughtful with her feedback, helping me stay focused on both the user needs and the overall product goals.

I especially appreciated how she encouraged me to think deeper about AI features, user trust, edge cases and how to handle changing requirements without losing clarity in the design. Her feedback helped me improve my workflow, wireframes and final prototype in a more professional way.

Merve was an excellent mentor – patient, knowledgeable, and motivating. Her guidance helped me build more confidence as a UX designer and create a stronger final project.”

Junior UX Designer → Medior UX Designer

Hey, I'm Merve Koók
Hey, I’m Merve — a senior UX designer working in product teams and mentoring junior designers alongside my full-time role.

Over the last few years, I noticed a pattern. Most junior designers aren’t struggling because they lack talent, they’re struggling because no one shows them how UX actually works in real teams. I review junior portfolios, give feedback, and interview designers regularly. And the same gaps come up again and again: unclear thinking, weak decision explanations, and projects that don’t reflect real-world constraints.

It’s a structured, hands-on mentorship where you work on realistic UX projects and get direct, honest feedback, the kind you’d receive from a senior designer on a real product team.

My role isn’t to teach theory or give answers. It’s to help you think clearly, explain your decisions with confidence, and build work you can actually stand behind.

8 weeks · 8 live 1-on-1 sessions · everything below included

One 40-min call per week plus async work you fit around your schedule. Most mentees spend 3–5 hours a week total, enough to make real progress, not enough to take over your life.

A single UX course with no feedback costs more. Here you get a senior designer reviewing your actual thinking every week for 8 weeks. If you finish with a case study you can explain confidently in an interview , that has a return.
